Parental Responsibility

It has been brought to my attention that some children have been arriving very early to school and playing on the outside equipment.

Whilst its great to see pupils eagerly arriving to school, I must emphasise that there is NO adult staff supervision on the school premises until the bell rings at 8.40am. Please note it is the parent/carer’s responsibility to ensure their child’s safety before the start of the school day.

Whilst on the subject of safeguarding, if your child is attending breakfast club or early childcare from 7.30am, could parents please ensure they accompany their child to the hall. At this time of the morning there are many lorries delivering/reversing up the drive towards receptoon and this is not a safe place for children to be walking alone.

Thank you.
